Visiting choirs

St Mary’s Church welcomes choirs from all over the United Kingdom and overseas to sing services while the Choirs of St Mary’s Church are on holiday (particularly during July and August). Enquiries should be made to the Assistant Director of Music; it would be helpful at this stage if choirs could submit recordings, preferably unedited and ideally demonstrating the choir singing for a service of worship, including a portion of psalmody if possible. Testimonials from clergy at the choir's home church, or another church at which they have recently sung, may also be offered.

Visiting choirs normally sing during Eucharist (or Matins) and Evensong on Sundays, and other performance opportunities may be available. For further information please download: Information for Visiting Choirs or contact the Assistant Director of Music.
