Choir of Boys and Men

The first choir at St Mary's was founded in 1123 and the Church has a long tradition of musical excellence.

The Choir of Boys and Men sing at services in the morning and evening on Sundays and at additional choral services for major festivals and civic occasions.

St Mary's choirs give frequent concerts and have performed in the USA and across Europe. They regularly broadcast on radio and television and have made many recordings.

The Director of Music is always pleased to meet prospective choristers and their parents.

There is currently also a vacancy for a countertenor.
